Palms Australia continues to receive requests for volunteers from grass roots communities and organisations to assist build capacities across the health, education and agricultural sectors.
For the last ten years, Kathy Brick has served as Palms’ State Representative in Melbourne. With all they do for Palms it’s only fair to consider the De Haas family Palms’ “force from the North”.
“We all know ‘Breast is Best’. But each case is individual and should be treated as needs require at the time. I believe, the photo shows the reality of our undernourished mothers and the environment they have to survive in.”
Carlita is one of the main health workers at Atabae, working with Palms volunteer Margaret Hall. She had just one month of English training before writing this short story of her life.
Now that we are getting our bearings a bit more and the end of the building project is in sight, we would like to start looking at what activities we should be focusing on over the next eighteen months.
