Palms Australia’s 88th Orientation Course

Palms Australia’s 88th Orientation Course

July 5-12 2008

One week before Pope Benedict arrived in Sydney this year, Palms held its 88th Orientation Course at the appropriately named Mount Saint Benedict Centre in Pennant Hills.

For eight days the twelve participants involved in the course engaged in an intensive programme of seminars, discussions and group activities designed to provide them with thorough preparation, advice and support for their imminent placements overseas.

Our deepest thanks go to all the facilitators who shared their expertise with us so generously throughout the course, to Fr Jack Evans who was our chaplain, and to the Good Samaritan Sisters for taking such good care of us at the centre.

Finally, thank you to all the participants who contributed so much energy and wisdom to each of the sessions. We wish you every blessing in your placements and future lives.
