Palms Australia is a unique independent and democratic organisation, open to the direction of its members. The board has seven directors elected by the membership. It is an agency whose legal structure is voluntary, not-for-profit and non-government. Palms is not formally part of any Church or Government funded institution or department.
Palms Australia maintains around 300 members from diverse backgrounds. To become a member one needs to be approved by the board and make a membership donation.
