The first edition of Palms Post in our Jubilee year both celebrates our past and focuses on the future.

Stories of returnees, including Colleen Keating’s reflection on late 1960s Madang, demonstrate the long term benefits volunteering has on the individuals who volunteer, the communities with which they work and the communities to whom they return.

The key to community is the acceptance, in fact the celebration of our individual and cultural differences. It is also the key to world peace. - M. Scott Peck
